Therapy With Allie

The therapeutic relationship is the most significant component in therapy, and I strive to create a connection with you that will lead to success. My style includes highlighting your inner strengths, increasing your supportive environments, and improving your ability to regulate your emotions. My services provide adolescents and adults with an empathic environment to explore life stressors, mental health symptoms, and relationship issues. My approach blends strength based techniques and cognitive behavioral therapies, which focus on the present and making changes in the here and now.

I earned my Master’s of Art in Counseling from Saint Mary’s College in 2021. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, suicide prevention, crisis management, relational issues, academic stress, body image issues, grief, trauma work, LGBTQI and major life transitions. While I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (#150370), I am also registered as an associate professional clinical counselor. I am supervised by Mackenzie Sodestrom, licensed marriage and family therapist (#110319) through Cultivate Therapy Group.

What to Expect with Therapy

Offering in-person and telehealth sessions for clients located in California.

After an initial phone call, consent forms are sent electronically and the first session will be scheduled.

By implementing practices from solution-focused and strength based theories, I work to establish client goals and outline practical steps to achieve goals. Along the way, I guide clients through a self-exploration process to gain a deeper understanding of the self. Therapy can sometimes bring up difficult memories or emotions, but I provide a safe space to dive into these aspects of oneself.
